​Charlie joined Tompkins in 2009. Having lived and worked in Kansas City since his graduation from Kansas State University CAP+D in 2007, his prior experience comes from his studying at the Centro Studi in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy, and working designing residential properties in Santa Barbara, CA. At Tompkins, his aim is to approach every project with a unique design angle. Charlie is passionate about the advancement of architecture at its root philosophy and his work/writings can be found in various academic journals. Charlie's work has recently been exhibited in New York City for innovation in natural building systems.  He spends his free time with his wife and two children as well as co-editing a literary journal.
