JIM TOMPKINS, PRESIDENT AND OWNER

Jim has over 40 years of both design and construction expertise and began his career in the 1950’s while working for the family owned construction company, Tompkins Construction.  He worked over 14 years for two nationally renowned Architectural firms specializing in the development of Hospitals and Education Facilities (Cannon Design in Grand Island, New York and URS/Hewitt & Royer of Kansas City, Missouri) before starting his own firm in 1984. His expertise encompasses the full range of Commercial, Military, Government, and Institutional Facilities projects. Being well versed and trained in the application of design principals, the use of materials, and the integration of building systems allows for the successful development of buildings that vary in style and type.
