DESCRIPTION:

This project involved the design of a seven story Airport Control Tower that would primarily serve the 178th Fighter Wing of the Beakly Airport, in Springfield, OH.  The building program included a control cab on the top level with 360 degree viewing of the airport and runways with the lower six floors serving as mechanical, electrical, telecommunications and personnel break room. there was also space set aside for offices and a training facility.  The project also included a GATR building that supported the antennas.
