Tompkins has been working closely with Jeff Kembel of NAI Capital Reality to develop two schematic designs for the 215 W Pershing building just north of the WWI memorial and just south of Union Station. This first design renovates the current building into either condos or offices and doubles the original square footage with the addition of an office tower that faces the WWI memorial and down Pershing. The contemporary and dynamic addition is meant to act as a new landmark that preserves the historic northern facade of the building while making its new presence known by opening to the beautiful Memorial Park.
