As a new part of the Tompkins Architects service, we are placing our newly designed buildings on Google Earth and making them live and available to view by the public. Last week Raintree Duckpond Activity Center went live. Here are some screenshots of it. This service will help provide our clients with a new avenue to publicize their location and business. Our model is available on Googles 3D Warehouse free to download and play with in Sketchup. (see link below) Please feel free to check it out and leave a comment.

Tompkins has been working closely with Jeff Kembel of NAI Capital Reality to develop two schematic designs for the 215 W Pershing building just north of the WWI memorial and just south of Union Station. This first design renovates the current building into either condos or offices and doubles the original square footage with the addition of an office tower that faces the WWI memorial...

The second scheme completely guts the building and moves the primary circulation space to the back of the building, giving the narrow building the necessary usable width to accommodate several condos. The south facade functions as the primary circulation corridor and each unit is given an internal porch and external balcony which provide both a sense of neighborhood, and a private retreat.
